I love these boys!

I take hundreds of photo's and never lose my cool and yet when I sit down to take some amazing beach photo's of my three adorable boys I just get frustrated. Then I put the camera down and say let's just do what you guys want and they all smile and I get the best shot of the day. They may drive me crazy but boy do I love them!

Colby Broke both Arms!

Yes that is my middle guy with two green casts. It was the piece de resistance on our family vacation to tour all the lighthouses in NC. The first day out we have an eventful day chasing Grandpa around and after dinner at my brother Adam's house the boys go out to play with my youngest brother Jonathon. Then they come back in, Jonathan telling my mom to look at Colby because he is being a big baby about a little hurt, dad's all huffing about Colby being thrown on his face. Mom looks at one arm then the other and from across the room I can see it is broken. I freak (for those that know me this is not normal for me, no wise cracks Jason) grab my poor child who is in complete shock barely crying and head for the hospital. Then I get the story, Colby is by far a better storyteller but I will try. They were playing by the water and they saw something across the creek they wanted to see Jonathon jumped over but Colby said he couldn't make it. So Jonathon says how about I throw you across. (that's when the doctors eyes get big every time) Jonathon says he asked him if he was ready Colby says he was like oh and oh and then he was flying. Keaton says Colby was being stupid flaying about. Dad says he landed on his face. Colby then says he put out his arms because he didn't want to get a new face. Well the right one is broken on the growth plate at a 45 degree angle the other is called a green willow fracture just bent really good. Both require casts.
Colby was tramatized for about a day now he thinks he is the bomb but really upset that he can't swim. Kids they jump back so quick it's amazing we survive them. Love this kid and I am so proud of his brave spirit and that he is making this a fun new adventure to tell all his friends about!

Momma braggin

Colby decided he wanted to play T-ball this year. Well like all parents I didn't think much of it. Then he was hitting some tennis balls with his uncle turns out he has quite the natural hit. Well let's sign him up see what he can do. (Still thinking Uncle Ryan was being an easy thrower) Well his first game was tonight and both times he got up to bat he hit the ball! The second time his team mates even did well enough that he made it to home plate! This kid has so much fun out there and he even pays attention. Maybe we have a ball player! Way to go Colby even if you never hit the ball you are a good team player and that will get you farther than anything. (But hitting the ball every once in awhile makes it more fun to watch)

I love his little dance he did that's Colby always putting on a show!

Boy's Valentines

I guess I should show off the boys too. Keaton really like the "these are the days" saying (he is into the Beatles as of late and he thought it sounded beatleish) so he created his own I just did what he requested. Then when I had Keaton's printed I realized I had made a huge error and wrote Haooy Valentines day. He thought it was fun and wished everyone a Haooy valentines day. Fifth graders go figure. I bought the pattern for Colby and Gavin's valentine from one of my favorite sites Two peas in a bucket. They liked it because it looked like cowboy stuff. No hearts no frills, boys no fun for me. It was fun letting them pick out what they liked and seeing them give their firends something they really liked. Hope everyone has a Haooy Valentines day!!
