JNJ

I don't know why I like barns so much but they really are fun places for weddings. Guess I married a country boy for a reason.
Jeanette and Jason never cease to amaze me every time I walk away from a shoot with them I feel like I must have done a horrible job because it was just too quick and yet when I get back and work on them they are always amazing. Either I am getting better or these guys really know how to work a camera. I think it's the latter. Again I was blessed with a bride who took it all in stride, looked amazing and was a joy to be around. Jason was a dream and did everything I asked and then some. I am still in total shock that I have gotten this lucky and am so very grateful for the wonderful clients I have. At a time when I could be pulling my hair out just by the sheer busyness of it all I have clients who make it so enjoyable that I just savor every minute.

Courtney and Rod

When I asked Courtney where would you like to shoot, are you a city couple or a country couple. She said well he would say city I would say country. So as we set up shots I tried to find things that would adapt to both of their personalities. It was a cold day and a little grey out but these two were troopers and hung in with me although I think it took Rod a little bit to get feeling back in his head by the end of it all but he kept on smiling or not smiling as the pictures called for it.

Shannon and Russ

Loved this wedding. The colors were beautiful the company fun and fancy free and we even had live bluegrass from the groom and his buddies. We dodged a pretty major rainstorm and ended up with a beautiful evening with a lovely couple. I think the pictures say it all.

Loved this hairstyle full of detail and it lasted all night even though she danced all night!

I love how well mom's color complimented the bridesmaids colors.

Nikki and Sam

These two were so much fun and full of life. Nikki is always so calm. A few things didn't go quite as planned, as it goes with any wedding, and she just said in her gorgeous northen accent "whatever". Full of smiles and always there for everyone else how could you not love her. Sam fits with her perfectly and just has as much fun as she does. She kinda freaked me out when we were done with the line up shots she said ok done with the hair take it out I am ready to party and I hadn't done any pictures of just the two of them. So shortly after dinner I stole them for just a minute and of course it was perfect she was gorgeous her hair being undone just made for some wonderfully romantic shots. As usual my bride always knows best! Thanks Nikki for showing me you don't have to be all dolled up to take perfect pictures!

Tis the season

For schools! Every Spring and fall to add to my already hectic wedding schedule I add a few kids in and do preschools. This year as I looked into the months facing me I looked at Mark and said if I can make it without losing my head this year we may continue if not this may be the last year I do schools. Four weddings down and four to go I sat down for my first school. I melted I completely melted these kids once again stole the heart right out of me. I love my adult time but nothing can compare to making a child smile and laugh. Now don't get me wrong we do have a few who cry and believe or not they can be my favorite ones because if I can get through the award is even greater (that does not mean I want them to all cry at me). So here are a few of my favorite little guys from the first school and man was it hard to choose like I said before they all stole my heart. Love the little sass she gave me! I told her to give me her diva and so she did.
Oh the little teeth!
Every time perfection with this little gal!

The real laugh...may not be perfect but I love the real laughs!

He may not be smiling but that only makes it so we can admire those eyes!

Her and her sister have the most perfect expressions...someone should model a doll after her.

Wow and from a boy too! Who says boys aren't the best!

This guy put on the charm!

Don't you smile at me... of course he finally did but he held out the longest I have ever seen.

This goes to show if you give them a minute to be themselves they must just be perfect....I so know how to work the boys, wonder why? ;)

Aren't they the cutest!

I told you the sisters had the best faces....she kept me laughing so hard I almost missed all her good stuff!
