The Princess at the Castle

This is a location that I had never thought I would get a chance to shoot at. Then to top it off the bride truly looked like princess. Who could ask for more? I was a little nervous, I had never met Darshana before the day I took her pic's we had chatted through emails, facebooked and things of that nature but the face to face feel of a person that I rely on to know my bride and what she desires in pictures was not in play. I was also hesitant because I had never even been to the Biltmore. Thankfully she was a dream and easy to get to know, the Biltmore was amazing and I had no problem finding my little spots. It helped that she brought along some great friends to help her out with holding the dress to grabbing some of the amazing Biltmore wine so that she was relaxed and able to enjoy the evening. I truly loved this gown and after talking to Darshana found out it was pretty reasonably priced this girl knows how to shop! A great designer for a great price. I will have to get the name from her again so I can pass on the secret. I don't know how I get all of my amazing clients but I am truly grateful to all of them for trusting me with such important events in their lives.

Old Salem Engagements

I think there is an Old Salem bug going around....this is my second session there and I think I love this place! Always something for somebody as far as things to use for pictures and I love the quite peaceful nature the community seems to exude in the after hours. It doesn't help my love when I have such great people to shoot too. These guys were so cute, they claimed they needed lots of direction but as you can see they did just fine being themselves. And I finally got the perfect starburst kiss! Woohoo!

Old Salem

Laura is so timeless and fun. At one point we asked her to do a serious face and none of us could do it we were all having so much fun. Laura gave us a chance to shoot at Old Salem I hadn't been there in 10 years. It is so peaceful and the architectural details in the area are amazing. She was such a trooper we walked all over and she would just strike that pose and make it all her own. So here is Laura I hope I did her justice.

I love these boys!

I take hundreds of photo's and never lose my cool and yet when I sit down to take some amazing beach photo's of my three adorable boys I just get frustrated. Then I put the camera down and say let's just do what you guys want and they all smile and I get the best shot of the day. They may drive me crazy but boy do I love them!

10 mths

My little neice is 10 mths old and still the cutest little girl ever (having all boy cousins she is a treat!) We went to Emerald Isle this week and got to spend a day at Cape Lookout with her, Adam and Allison. She is so good hardly fusses at all but then again all the boys doted on her the whole time too. Well when they weren't fishing with their hands. Here she is with her favorite thing sand.

This little gal is so full of life it was quite the feat to get her to slow down and take a picture! But as you can see she is well worth the work!

Boudoir Shoot

Normally I don't share my boudoir shots in this forum for the obvious reason.....but I couldn't keep this one to myself. I think you can see why. Sometimes you just get it right and you gotta share. What do you guys think? For those who are interested in getting a boudoir shoot please let me know and I have a private gallery that I show only to those I meet with or who are current clients to maintain the privacy of my models.
